The idea for Arrow Motorbikes began in 2003 when founder Krista Wyatt obtained a 1981 Honda CM400T from her friend Kendra, who was stricken with cancer. The little Honda did not run and was in need of cosmetic work. Krista soon found that local dealerships would not work on the bike due to its age. With the needed repair work being just beyond her knowledge, Krista found some help then added her own elbow grease to restore the little Honda. Kendra lived to see her beloved bike reborn and was able to have a ride on it before she lost her battle with cancer.
Soon after the Honda was on the road, other people commented on how they also were having trouble finding someone to work on their older motorcycles. Another friend asked for help with her motorcycle and Krista discovered she had developed a passion for motorcycle repair and basic restoration. The frustration of not having a local garage to service the older motorcycles created the need for Arrow Motorbikes to come to life. Armed with the experience of servicing her own bikes for over thirty years, Krista decided to further her education and become a certified motorcycle mechanic.
This site is dedicated to Kendra Dickerson, the in-spirit founder of Arrow Motorbikes. If it were not for the story told here, Krista might not have discovered the passion to restore, repair and service motorcycles.
